case study

FastFit

Business site for fitness brand with multiple locations

When the business outgrew the website

FastFit EMS came to this project at a point where the brand itself was already established, but the website no longer reflected its scale or clarity. Operating in the EMS fitness space with multiple locations and a franchise-oriented mindset, the business needed a platform that could explain what they do, for whom, and how everything connects, without overwhelming the visitor.

The previous site did not fail visually, but it failed structurally. It could not clearly communicate the breadth of services, the location-based model, or the long-term ambitions of the brand.

Designing a system, not a set of pages

This project was approached as a full rebuild, starting from first principles. The design phase focused on creating a coherent system rather than isolated page designs. Typography, spacing, grid logic, and component behavior were defined early to ensure consistency across a large number of pages.

Instead of designing each page as a one-off, we built a flexible design language that could adapt to different content types while still feeling unified. This made it possible to support both marketing-focused pages and more informational, location-driven content without visual friction.

Making complexity feel simple

The website includes a significant number of pages, each with a specific role. Location pages, service explanations, brand storytelling, and conversion-oriented sections had to coexist in a clear hierarchy.

A lot of attention went into content flow and pacing. Sections were intentionally restrained, giving each message space to breathe. Reusable components were designed with enough flexibility to avoid repetition while still maintaining structural discipline across the site.

CMS built for real use

On the development side, Webflow was used not just as a visual builder but as a structured content platform. A custom CMS architecture was created to manage locations, modular content blocks, and shared elements across the site.

This allows the FastFit team to update content confidently without risking layout inconsistencies. The CMS supports growth by design, whether that means adding new locations, expanding service descriptions, or adjusting messaging over time.

Integrations, performance, and search visibility

Several custom integrations were implemented to support the underlying business logic. These were planned early to ensure they felt native to the site experience rather than bolted on later.

Performance and responsiveness were treated as foundational requirements, especially given the size of the site and the amount of dynamic content. SEO considerations were integrated from the start, influencing page templates, heading structure, internal linking, and CMS fields. This was particularly important for location-based discoverability and long-term organic growth.

A platform ready to scale

The final website feels calm, structured, and intentional. It supports FastFit EMS as a growing brand and provides a solid foundation that can evolve without constant redesigns or technical debt. The result is not just a redesigned website, but a scalable digital platform aligned with how the business actually operates.
